Project description:
Daniel originally designed the replacement dwelling with the client while in employment with Day Tanner Partnership Limited however when they stopped trading, DJKA was appointed to set up and administer the construction contract.
During the process of setting up the contract, some areas were identified that required additional detailed technical design, which DJKA completed in collaboration with the design team. This was an exciting high quality build incoporating home automation, high levels of insulation, and renewable technologies.
Daniel was on site weekly to support construction and undertake biweekly valuations.
Throughout the design and construction, Daniel kept in regular contact with the client to provide support through the build process and to guide them through complex decision making to develop their ideas and ensure they got the house they envisioned.

We were very impressed with his knowledge and interpretation of our ideas, we would sketch something out and he would take the basic idea and make it work even better. He patiently worked through a few iterations to get to the final plan of our dream home.
Before we actually got to start the project Day Tanner ceased trading, we sought out Daniel and were relieved to find he had set up DJKA and we appointed him to administer and manage the project. This was really important to us, as when a technical question arose during the build, he was able to meet with and answer the builders or other contractors questions. Creating additional technical drawings to spell it out if needed.
Throughout the project Daniel kept us informed and updated, helped us create snagging lists, find and commission a suitable landscaper etc. He was there when we needed him and most importantly of all the design he created, is the house we wanted and looks amazing!
